My name is Samantha and I am the owner of Craft Shed and Buying Sewing Machines. I am a full time blogger and have a range of blogs in subjects that I am passionate about.

I am also a wife and mother of one and live in the beautiful Algarve which is in Southern Portugal. Europe is a very arts and crafts world so I have a great choice of things to make and do in order for me to practice my hobby.

I love attending craft fairs, though I must admit my husband always gives me that “what is she buying now look” which I am sure many of you ladies are familiar with!!!

Apart from making crafts I am also a member of the candle loving brigade and have many of them throughout my home. I also love the scented sticks too and these are also a frequent part of my home especially for relaxing on an evening.

I also share my home with two adorable black cats, who would love to help me with my crafts but spend most of their time pawing at my cotton. Though they absolutely adore laying on my patchwork quilts once I have made them and I have real trouble getting them back afterwards.

As a keen recycle addict – I will also be showing you how to make some amazing things without it costing you much at all.
