Kirstie’s Hand Made Britain At Christmas

Kirstie is really getting into the swing of Christmas now and if you really want to get in the mood yourself it really is advisable to watch this edition of Kirstie’s Hand Made Britain because her enthusiasm for this time of the year really is infectious.

If you watched last weeks programme you will know that she has mastered the 12 crafts of Christmas and it wouldn’t be a surprise if many of the people at home had not also tried their hand at these crafts, after all, the final results from Kirstie’s efforts looked absolutely stunning and if they are as easy to put together as she said they are then there will be a lot of happy people up and down the country.

Kirstie’s Handmade Britain Episode 8

This edition of Kirstie’s handmade Britain is slightly different to the ones that we have been used to in that she is not entering any shows as such but instead she is concentrating on getting her home ready for Christmas. This is in fact the first of two Christmas specials and you would have to say that everything that Kirstie has been doing in this show lends itself perfectly to the Christmas celebrations.

Kirstie’s Handmade Britain Episode 7

This weeks episode of Kirstie’s Handmade Britain was in my opinion, the best one of the series so far and it really got down to the very basics of country life, perhaps not one for the faint hearted but we all know that Kirstie is quite a ‘gal’ and enjoys rolling her sleeves up and getting stuck in.

This weeks episode centred around the Nidderdale Show in the Yorkshire Dales and anyone from that neck of the woods will no doubt tell you that it really is quite a show, and is in fact one of the few remaining agricultural shows of this type in the UK today.

Kirstie’s Handmade Britain Episode 6

The sixth episode of Kirstie’s hand made Britain was special for Kirstie as it centred around the Chagford show which is close to her home in Devon. Even when she is not involved in anything like this she always makes a point of visiting the Chagford Show and like all of the other shows of this type up and down the country, it really is regarded as one of the main days out of the year, especially amongst the farming community who make these shows the superb spectacle that they are.

Kirstie’s Handmade Britain Episode 4

This series is really picking up steam now and is turning out to be far better than I could have ever imagined. I have a feeling that Kirstie Allsopp will be branching out in to even more areas of television in the not to distant future as it really does look like she can turn her hand to anything.

Anyway, back to this weeks episode, Kirstie Allsopp tried her hand at flower arranging and the show that she was going to try her luck in was the Royal Cornwall show. As with all of these country shows which Kirstie has taken part in, the Royal Cornwall show is extremely competitive in every event so it was again a case of Kirstie having to be at her very best.

Kirstie’s Handmade Britain Episode 3

The third episode in Kirstie’s Handmade Britain continued this week with Kirstie Allsopp learning a new skill in needlecraft. You’ve got to hand it to her, everything that she does is done with a great amount of enthusiasm but if you are getting paid the amount of money that she is, anyone would be able to draw on their depths of perseverance to give everything that they have got into their needle work efforts.

Kirstie’s Handmade Britain Episode 2

This weeks episode of Kirstie’s Handmade Britain saw Kirstie Allsopp take on the art of paper crafts and for me this was quite amazing as I just didn’t realise for one minute that it is possible to create such unbelievable objects out of paper and from Kirstie Allsopp’s reaction, I don’t think that she did either.
